Long before vines were planted, nature was already defining the character of our wines. Our vineyards lie on the foothills of Pohorje, where ancient silicate soils rich in quartz, granite, tonalite and slate create naturally low yields and remarkable precision. These are not soils that produce powerful wines. They produce wines with energy, tension and longevity. Every vineyard parcel speaks with a different voice, yet all share the same unmistakable signature: freshness, minerality and authenticity.
