01 — THE PLACE

Our vineyards lie on the slopes of Pohorje, where the Alpine world meets the Pannonian Plain.
Warm days and cool mountain nights create a natural rhythm of slow, balanced ripening.
This contrast preserves freshness while allowing the grapes to develop depth, concentration and aromatic precision.
Pohorje is not simply where we grow wine. It is what shapes it.
02 — THE SOIL
Born from ancient rock.
The soils of Pohorje are shaped by ancient geological formations, rich in silicate rock, quartz and mineral fragments. Poor, demanding soils force the vines to root deeper and naturally limit their vigour.
This struggle creates smaller yields, greater concentration and the distinctive mineral tension that runs through our wines.
What the vine finds beneath the surface, we eventually find in the glass.
03 — THE CLIMATE
Cool nights. Long seasons.
Pohorje’s position between Alpine and Pannonian influences creates a climate of warm days, cool nights and long, gradual ripening seasons.
These natural contrasts preserve freshness and acidity while allowing the grapes to develop complexity, depth and aromatic precision.
Time and temperature shape the balance we seek in every vintage.
04 — THE VINEYARD
Working with nature.
Our vineyards are farmed organically, with respect for the natural rhythm of the land. Biodiversity, healthy soils and careful work by hand allow the vines to find their own balance.
Rather than forcing production, we favour naturally lower yields and grapes with greater concentration, purity and character.
We don’t shape nature. We give it space to shape the wine.
05 — THE CELLAR
Less intervention. More expression.
In the cellar, our role is to guide rather than control. Spontaneous fermentation, patient ageing and minimal intervention allow each wine to develop at its own pace.
Time, fine lees and carefully selected barrels bring texture and depth without hiding the character of the vineyard.
Nothing added to the story. Nothing taken away from its origin.
06 — THE WINE
The final expression of place.
Everything begins in the vineyard. Soil, climate, season and our work become one in the wine.
Each bottle carries the character of Pohorje — its freshness, tension, depth and quiet individuality.
We don’t create the character. We allow it to emerge.
